They Run To Him

THEY  RUN  TO  HIM

Hearts are broken, minds and souls crushed,

Then He stands in love before them all

Waits with patient arms held out

The One who loves even more,

Little children closest to His heart

All birthed onto this earth, His earth

More precious, more desired than riches, His children;

He yearns for the little ones

Delight  greater than any grandparent, even Abraham,

Delight beyond human knowledge.

The children run to Him

Strong arms open very wide

Tears and loud cries, squeals of joy

Tender warmth that wraps about,

They run to Him

Always into the arms of love

They run to Him, screams of laughter, eyes flash,

Holiness that burns, a jealous river before Him

Gentle love that fills the Universe and beyond

Love that carries a child with heavenly wings

And lifts far above this place, polluted world

To His home,

To their new home at last.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
