Commitment takes wings and flies

It swoops very low

It soars very high,

Hovering above, it sees very far,

Eyes penetrate deeply

Details missed by most.

Holy winds of the Spirit carry powerfully

Good purpose lifts many and much aloft,

Divine purpose draws very near

Humility guides impartially among those who walk the earth, even Israel

And even those who barely crawl upon the ground.

Wisdom from above, love compels below,

After seeing what we have seen

After hearing what we have heard

After learning to walk in His holy footsteps

To follow while being seated somehow high in His presence,

Who can withhold knowledge of the true Gospel given to give freely

Peace given to the Jews first to openly share

In John, in Paul, in Peter, in the early anointed many;

Joy in the enlightenment meant to powerfully grow.

Arms reach out in new strength

Hands grasp for one more, then another,

Always one more precious human in divine fellowship.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
