Waves roll in along the open shoreline

The blue of the water, dark blue,

And brightest blue of the sky above

Comforting warmth of the sun on this long stretch of sand

Sweet light awakens all the given senses

Most beautiful Earth

Wonderful heavens above , wonderful rich moment.

She closes her eyes and breathes deeply

Gladness at being alive at this special time

This day on the threshold of all fulfillment

Completeness of peace

When things written and first spoken so long ago

Now stand on tiptoes ready to be fully revealed.

Power players in lands near and far away

Most camped out in America’s bedroom,

All unknowingly obeying the “Sovereign Command”

To stir up all the nations against Jerusalem,

Then carve and slice up one another from within;

God’s plan placed into their minds and wills

To accomplish His purposes.

America soon to be no more

Forgotten by time as others,

Burned and devoured within and without,

Judgment poured out as a simple jar of seawater

Upon a small sand castle of pride washed easily away.

A new wave, a new tide, all creation held accountable,

Judge standing at Earth’s door.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
