LOVE DRAWS NEAR

LOVE  DRAWS  NEAR

Love draws near

Warmth for any chill of the heart;

Today in prayer

In constant need before Him

Tears of intensity

Yearning and longing deepen.

As we love more

The closer we become in Spirit

The further we move from this world

The less we belong

Less of its ways, anxiety and stress

Less of the strife, ambitions and greed,

Envy and driving competion,

Appetites of lust and swirling eddies of fear;

The muck of lies

Soot of government smoke stacks

Beltch out the propaganda, the control

Intelligence agencies at all levels

Ruthless means, vicious characters,

Hatred drives them, to despise the people

Trample any perceived personal rights, self worth.

Separation moves as the Grand Canyon

A division broad and deep,

The beauty of such truth runs the length of a country’s destiny.

The Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness;

We stand in mercy Light

In shelter, in the refuge of a strong Tower,

Many, many thousands fall all about us!

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
