Our King upon His throne

Hearts yielded, a thousand years and more,

Joy fulfilled in souls once yearning

Every desire realized

Has now fully become ours.

The Spirit of Messiah has carried us

Heavenly sabbath rest across the once troubled land,

Heavenly rest indwells so many once troubled souls;

The Holy Presence now completely experienced,

What words cannot express.

Difficulties of the small gate and narrow road

Struggles of a disciple, clash with the world

Every taste of suffering and sacrifice forgotten

Caught up in this Majesty,

Eyes feast upon the unending beauty

Feast upon all that is revealed

What is being made known,

Priceless jewel with many facets

Shown beyond any righteous imaginations,

And the old limits of the mind,

Mere human thoughts that fall back to the earth.

What ears faintly heard

Eyes now begin to truly see

Majestic King upon His Majestic Throne

The eternal Kingdom spread out before Him as a sea of glass,

As star dust of the Universe

Now spread out before us who stand, faithful to the end,

Children bathed in Holy Spirit love before Him.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
