My little Kitty

He runs where I run, my friend

He jumps where I jump again

On my bed at night

In the sandbox where I play

On the couch for tv

On a chair

Always tired, everywhere.

When he eats, always a lot

Water to drink, I don’t forget;

My Kitty digs in the litter box

Yes, makes it stink.

My little Kitty

He likes my hugs

I carry him sometimes out to play

Then he runs and hides

I look and look,

That’s how we play.

I  like my Kitty

My Kitty likes me

He really is like a friend

Stays with me through each day

When I feel bad

Or when I’m sick

Baby Kitty purrs, then jumps away

He makes me happy

Like it’s a brand new day.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.

1 Response to KIDS READ 7- KITTY

  1. Thanks for sharing this adorable poem about a kid with a kitty. It reminds me of my kitten that I got for my 8th birthday. Sadly, the kitten got outside when I was at school and runover by a car and killed. When I got home, my grandma told me what happened, and I was so sad. The kitten was precious to me.
