The Lover of our souls cries out;

Delicately one peaceful life moves through a circumstance

Precisely like a fine paint brush

The Sovereign Artist uses each vessel to touch with grace and comfort

To awaken the richest colors of love

To breathe clean desire and pure revelation

Goodness shown to another,

Kindness expressed to one more.

A quiet whispered prayer for a man in need,

Strong word for a woman snared by fears,

Another precious woman sensed to be stumbling blindly, bitterness nibbling away,

Or a merchant worn out by business anxieties

Buyer overwhelmed, seller overloaded,

Pressure squeezes the crowds out on the sidewalks.

Yet, one young man hands out gospel tracts about a new King

Another simple person speaks of a new Lord to angels in a city park

And to all who happen to walk by;

Anointing of the Holy Spirit engulfs one

Invisible glow of another and witness of the only truth that can satisfy,

What can truly meet any real need.

Supernatural anointing reaches out today

Healing rises up for body, soul and spirit

Eternal hope that lifts with silver wings far above this place

And gives clear vision that penetrates any heart in need

And carries to the very Throne of God.

New authority on wide display,

Power unseen, unheard of, never even imagined in this progressive day

Men, women and children touch many others

Creative power, bold reverence for all life.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
