Sunshine is warm over the land

Kind hands have built with care

A good place for gentle, vulnerable ones

Those loved from above deeply, with compassion,

Their prayers as finest incense before Him, His blazing throne.

Yet, in the dark of the night

A destroyer comes, enemy of mankind, of Americans

Covered by smooth deceit, a thick coat of lies,

And much damage is done.

In the Gulf of Mexico

One corporation in concert with a corrupt government,

Oil flows, lies flow, even worse is sprayed

And the sick and dying quietly multiply.

Nuclear disaster in Japan

Invisible radiation pours forth far and wide, scripted lies flow once more

And the widespread sick and slowly dying multiply again.

Money leaders speak of economic recovery

Debt as not a problem, spending well under control,

The paper dollar never a problem as wars multiply.

But the destroyers are coming

Even Apollyon of old,

Dark king of the abyss;

The torment will be great

The slain many, suffering beyond imagination.

But they will fall into their own nets

Snares they themselves have set,

While the children pass safely by

In shelter, in refuge beneath golden wings.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
