One uniquely colored thread in a finely woven Persian rug

Touch of supreme quality, line of distinct purpose,

Needed for regal completion

Needed for royal fulfillment of design.

A mother looks at her newborn, a father amazed

Each person special

Each one distinctly unique

From a new individual seed

Precise, specific biochemistry

Most intimate divine touch,

And an eternal breath of God gives life,

Shapes and sizes and colors

Talents and strengths and weaknesses

Common human vulnerabilities

A time and place to be

A sense of eternity

A heart to search for reality

Mind to understand absolute truth

Will to drink and eat freely,

To see and hear the One in purpose above all.

Every fingerprint stands alone

DNA very precise, specific just as the spirit image.

Just as each one will stand alone at the end,

Life in balance before the Holy Throne.

Hunger must be  our own

Our personal reality a thirst for truth

To stand alone somehow while joined to many by love;

Eyes that look to heaven

See the common needs of all

To search and reach out and find at last,

All men, all women seeking

Mysteriously joined as one only in Messiah,

Yet, stand alone in the Holy light

Before the gaze of eyes that see both your beginning

And your end,

Your sweet experience of life,

Your sweetest experience of Him.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
