THRONE

THRONE

A sea of glass before God’s Throne

Crystal clear pool stands nearby

Eyes of blazing fire penetrate this sea,

Nothing in all creation hidden from the look

Everything, everyone made crystal clear.

The Universe and beyond lie completely open in this small pool

Fully exposed at every level

Literally all displayed before Him,

Present in its seemingly infinite vastness,

The finite Earth in its complexities

The mind of a man who walks about

Every woman, every thought

Each child that draws breath,

Sheol, Hades as well in a glance.

Messiah’s Throne, place of all power

Place of all authority

Place of judgment, of mercy,

In foreknowledge, in predestination

Mysteries revealed,

Majesty of our God’s Throne

Unspeakable greatness of our Lord.

Our Redeemer, Savior who walked this tiny earth as a man

To pluck all mankind from the waiting judgment and the cleansing fire.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.

  1. AMAZING! I believe this is exactly what the throne of God looks like!I have seen it in an open vision, and when I pray, I now tend to picture approaching Him through that sea. Did you have a dream or vision of this yourself? The poem is simply too true to have come up with accidentally. The Holy Spirit can be seen and felt in this poem. Neat! Thanks for sharing it!
