EARTH FOG

EARTH  FOG

The lies of Satan melt away like a morning San Diego fog

The deceit and lies human nature naturally loves;

A bright rising sun, morning warmth lifts the heavy veil

Removes the thick curtain

And eyes that were dimmed

Now see far away

Off to the destined shoreline, waves of beauty in rhythmic dance

As Russian ballerinas in delightful precision,

Then off further to the distant horizon of the ocean of God’s love.

Only the Spirit of Messiah gives true Light

Equips the soul

Clothes the naked man, the naked woman,

All who walk about America clueless

Immersed in selfish wanderings

Growing fatter, yet starving,

Growing in worldly riches, yet dirt poor.

The fruit of deception rots in the mouth,

Numberless people claim to live even while snared in spiritual death,

All purpose lost in vagueness, a material daze

All imagined hope but delusion and fantasy football;

Despair and depression the betraying friends.

The “Ruler of All” has come down

Words spoken encircled the earth, His earth,

Filled the Universe, His Universe

Melted the mountains, His mountains

Magnified the glory of His new revelation Light,

Truth made known in His presence

Intimately revealed to all who seek it, choose it

In divine accountability

No excuse left.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
