From the ends of the earth

Voices faintly heard

In weakness, cries for justice;

Then, they suddenly stand in His light, refreshed in grace

Fearless as warriors of old.

A new day of courage is at hand

Far apart from the cycles of foolishness in the world

And highest drama, deceit of politicians

Playing the American public for fools,

As clueless, as marginal

Media propaganda reveals the low regard,

Echoes almost contempt for the many,

Dirty hands hold dirty money

Corruption worn proudly as expensive suits, clothing of Self;

But the wise are not deceived.

As John the Baptist faced down corrupt leaders

A day similar, human nature much the same,

Stood in boldness, in strength for the sake of truth and divine honor,

Pointed a finger confidently

Loudly spoke in clear trumpet sounds;

So, we too see and smell the rottenness

False peace, false security, cunning mantras

As vile lies rise with fumes,

The wicked gain power through deceit,

Consciences seared,

Fattened vipers who celebrate only themselves,

And their dark Lord Lucifer…

Their end already written,

Sudden and complete.

The mouth of the Holy One of Israel speaks

With angelic trumpets blaring

Deafening roars of a Lion

Melting of earthly mountains,

Kingdoms turned inside out

Leaders cast aside, true worth exposed.

The earth trembles, heavenly bodies shaken

As the King of all Jews rises

Ready to stride down the Mount of Olives in triumph,

While a cleansing fire patiently waits.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
