SONGS LYRICS 10- CRYING FOR THE CHILDREN

SONG  LYRICS  10-  CRYING  FOR  THE  CHILDREN

Chorus:

They cry for the children

Just crying for the children

Lord, crying for the children

We’re crying for the children, Oh Lord.

1.

In every land, in every place

In every nation, in every race

A voice is heard the same

Crying for the children

Calling out each name.

2.

The value of a priceless life

Found precious in our very sight

New treasure in each soul

Priceless gift of each life

Value of each soul.

3.

With cruelest war in any land

Price always to be fully paid

Ones who only want love

Ones who pay the great price

Those with least to give.

4.

So we cry out for the children

Join Heaven as together we cry

Father for his children

Mother who never knows why

We’re crying for the children.

5.

A blanket to cover at night

Blanket of comfort, the cold night

When darkness covers the way

A voice of peace to say

You will live another day.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
