To receive what lasts

From the very hand of God

In a pure and peaceful flow

Meeting every possible honest need,

As seed sown in faithful love

Multiplying in generous, giving hearts;

Those who move in and through our earthly lives

Simply gifts of opportunity

Chances to pour out a healthy drink,

Hand out rich, nutritious bread

To encourage the poor in spirit,

The beautiful children.

We live to share everything good

One hand meets our own needs

The other passes along abundance,

Both hands lifted in the true work of prayer

Wonderfully are turned into the gift of praise experienced

Joy from above worked into the possessions we carry

The people held near the heart,

The cup of salvation always a very light burden.

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
