KINGDOM FRUIT

KINGDOM  FRUIT

Prayerfully, to honor our Lord

To bring good honor to His Father,

Our Father,

What greater purpose for our own existence!

In this world what desires drive us on,

Food and drink

Clothes to wear

Worldly wealth and possessions

That fade with each sunset?

We who walk the “narrow road”

Always taste the “first fruit”

True Kingdom fruit

Kindness from the gentle hand of God

Knowledge of the Holy One who shepherds

Who leads us step by step

Grace from day to day

Year to year

From birth to grave,

As our bodies age

And our timeless spirits mature

Until the day of our eternal destiny

When we stand before our King

And behold His beauty!

Our lives, our very beings

As a sacrificial offering in true honor

In thanksgiving for His priceless gift

His life given so freely to us

That we might joyfully

Give all we are back to Him!

About Gary Bertnick

I was a Minnesota teenager in the late 1960's. I was drafted into the military after an intense time at an engineering school. As a graduate chemical engineer and former athlete, I became a Marine Corps private. The Lord spoke to me through a friend while visiting Rapid City,S.D. My true discipleship began in Southern California and was boosted through association with Morris Cerullo Ministry and others. I fed upon the Scriptures and have learned to be led by the Holy Spirit. I know what the fear of the Lord is. What I write is done to honor the Lord and to touch the lives of those who know Him as well as those who should.
